This message explores what happens after Christmas and why our everyday posture toward God matters. Through the story of Simeon in Luke 2, we see how a life lived attentive to the Holy Spirit, available to God’s will, and aware of Jesus’ presence leads to life-changing moments. Simeon didn’t see the miracles, the cross, or the resurrection, yet his surrendered “yes” positioned him to witness the beginning of something world-changing. This sermon invites us to consider what we might be missing, how revival can begin within us, and what could be on the other side of a faithful, obedient yes to God.

We live in a world filled with the extraordinary—breakthroughs in technology, acts of justice, stories of courage, and glimpses of beauty that leave us speechless. But some things are so remarkable they demand more than to be witnessed—they call us to bear witness. The Jesus-movement began not with power, influence, or institutions, but with ordinary people who witnessed something extraordinary and refused to stay quiet. Once upon a time, those witnesses changed the world—maybe, just maybe, it could happen again.
