Men's Leader Development Groups
Developing the character and capability of men to effectively lead others like Jesus.
The purpose of Leader Development Groups (LDG) is to develop the character and capability of men to effectively lead others like Jesus. Our desire is that you will transition into a spiritual leadership role throughout our church upon completion of the group.
To accomplish this, we’ve selected some of our wisest and most experienced leaders to invest in future leaders through a small group mentoring experience. These “mentors” include select Buckhead Church staff members and mentors of our church. If you’ve ever wanted someone a season ahead of you to develop and mentor you, now is your chance!
LDG involves a high level of commitment. It includes:
- Attending a three-hour meeting once a month for nine months
- Reading books
- Completing homework and growth assignments, memorizing Scripture
- Investing in the men of your group

An overnight trip

A full-day commencement to conclude the group
Buckhead Church will provide the first book, but there will be others to purchase.
The initial meeting is mandatory for participation in the group and will take place at Buckhead Church. Logistics will be provided during the application process.
It’s also critical that you come ready to sign the LDG Commitment below. For husbands, read this with your wife. We want her to know what you’re being asked to do and to be totally supportive of the time you’re going to invest in your spiritual and leadership growth as you read, memorize, and connect with the other men in your group.
