Make a Prayer Cup.

On May 12, your child will make a Prayer Cup in Waumba Land. If you missed it and want to make your own prayer cup at home, here’s what to do:

• Decorate a paper cup with crayons, markers, stickers, or stamps.
• On craft sticks or strips of paper, write things or people you and your child would like to pray for. Put the sticks in the cup and remind your preschooler they can talk to God anytime, anywhere, about anything.
• Place the cup in a special place (e.g., beside your child’s bed or on the dinner table) where they will be reminded to pray.
• Encourage your child to choose a stick every day. Pray for what or who is on the stick.

Add more sticks to get the whole family involved!
