COVID-19: COMMUNITY NEEDS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESPONSE

SUMMARY
The realities of COVID-19 are uncomfortable and inconvenient for all of us. For some, due to medical conditions or financial situations (e.g., lost wages, food insecurity), the impact can be devastating. We have created this page for those who want to know the best ways to help.
OUR PARTNERS
Our long-term community partners serve those most vulnerable to the ramifications of COVID-19, so they are well-positioned at the forefront of our community’s response. We’re in regular contact with them and are closely monitoring their ever-changing realities. We will continue to update this page based on the latest information available about their needs.
PRAY for their staff and for those they serve.
GIVE most-needed items or financial donations to help Atlanta Mission provide safe shelter, nourishing meals, and a healthy environment to those facing homelessness in the midst of this crisis.
GIVE to help them prepare for an increased demand for their services as more individuals and families need help to transition out of crisis.
GIVE to build up their emergency assistance fund for families that are finding it difficult to pay their rent/mortgage and buy groceries because of the pandemic. SHOP at their neighborhood grocery store, Carver Market, to help sustain staffing and operations.
SERVE by building furniture in the comfort of your own home.
