Fostering Together Christmas Baskets

Fostering Together is the foster care ministry at Buckhead Church. For this service project, prepare a Christmas/holiday themed basket for a local foster family to have a fun night together during the holidays to help them keep kids busy while out of school. 

The estimated cost of one basket is $50–75.

Follow these instructions to build your basket(s):

1. Watch this video to learn more about Fostering Together.
2. Collect items for the basket. Here are some suggestions: holiday crafts, hot cocoa, cookie baking kits, games, gingerbread house kit, ornament making kit, movie or tickets to events around the city, S'mores supplies with roasting sticks, apple cider kit with cozy blanket, etc.
3. Wrap the basket in cellophane, and place a ribbon and a gift tag to indicate "For Fostering Together".
4. Drop off your basket(s) on Sunday, October 22 or November 5 in the lobby at Buckhead Church, 8:30–11:15 a.m. Look for the Fostering Together sign; staff will be at a table collecting baskets.
