All Things New

Stories of Redemption and Renewal Throughout the Bible

all things new

A 21-Day Devotional

From the first chapter of Scripture to the last, the Bible tells one unified story of God’s commitment to make all things new. In Genesis, we see the brokenness of sin, but we also see God’s promise that evil will not have the final word.

Stories like Joseph’s remind us that even what others intend for harm, God can transform for good (Genesis 50:20). Across Israel’s history, through prophets, kings, and ordinary people, God continues his work of renewal, shaping a people set apart for his purposes.

This promise comes into full focus in Jesus, who restores what was lost through his life, death, and resurrection. Because of him, God works in every circumstance for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28). Through the Holy Spirit, believers receive new hearts, a new identity, and a new belonging in God’s family.

Revelation reveals the conclusion of this story, when God will dwell with his people, and creation is made whole again. From beginning to end, Scripture points to the same truth: God is always renewing, restoring, and making all things new.
