Role of a Just Married Community Group Leader
Our community group leaders create environments for people to develop and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Leaders are responsible for providing their groups with vision, direction, and support. They are successful when they are personally growing in The 3 Vital Relationships and are encouraging their group members to grow in these three relationships as well. Our Just Married group leaders also serve as mentors to their groups by sharing the wisdom about marriage they’ve acquired from personal experience.

Please read the information below to better understand leader qualifications and expectations. All others will need to complete the application linked at the bottom of this page. We will then provide the next steps in the process.   • Have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Recognize the Bible as the authority for your life
  • Have community group experience (preferably)
  • Are a member of a North Point Ministries campus
  • Have the time, emotional capacity, and moral discernment to lead a group
  • Have been married for at least five years


  • Facilitate the group meetings, monitoring their health and duration and promoting participation among group members.
  • Serve as a mentor to the newly married couples.
  • Follow the suggested curriculum path for Just Married groups.
  • Commit to participate in leadership development opportunities provided by the church.
  • Identify and develop a qualified apprentice couple and embrace apprentice leader development as a measure of success.
  • Complete an Enrich/Prepare inventory as part of the application process. (This will be explained more after applications are submitted.)
  • Both you and your spouse actively participate in all group leadership activities.
